Silicone Cables: Overview

Thermal Resistant Cable, Silicone Cables, Depending on their individual temperature limits these cables are split in different resistant classes which cover temperature ranges from -190° C to +1200° C. The different insulate classes into which these cables are split, is affected as per VDE 0530 part 1 in the classes Y, A, E, B, F, H, C. Silicone cables were designed for use wherever insulation is subjected to extreme temperature changes. They are heat resistant for permanent temperatures up to +180°C, and short time for operation to +220°C.
These cables have great environmental resistance properties and can be used at temperatures as low as -60°C.
Silicone cables are halogen-free and are especially suitable for installation in power stations.
