A multitude of applications needs the inset of particular special cable constructions. Corresponding to the customer’s requirements those cables may be constructed with different stranding elements and cross-sections of the cable. In this case we are speaking about combination or hybrid cables. Application technical reasons may require using different insulating materials, choosing special stranding types or special shielding, for example multiple or mixed shielding.
